YOU HAVE STATED MOST OF MY PHYSICAL MEDICAL PROBLEMS IN THE ABOVE STATEMENTS.
I WAS JUST TRYING TO DEFINE " RIDICULOPATHY" WHICH IS A TERM MY M.D. KEEPS USING & NOT EXPLAINING TO ME (AMONG MANY OTHER TERMS HE KNOWS GOOD &  WELL I DO NOT HAVE A CLUE ABOUT).
I HAVE HAD TWO BACK SURGERIES.  I HAVE HAD THE SECOND ONE AS BEING A FAILED SURGERY, THIS INCLUDED METAL PLATES, SCREWS, BONE FUSION FROM A BONE BANK & LEFT ME W/SO MUCH SCAR TISSUE IT HAS BEEN HIDING RESULTS OF TESTS.
SO MUCH FOR MY COMPLAINING !

hi,
I have cervical radiculopathy as well and also have paresthesias in my lower extremities and elsewhere.  First:  Have you been diagnosed by an md through MRI's for herniated discs, spinal stenosis or something of this nature with nerve involvement?  If not that is what you have to do first.  If you have your md should have made tx plans with you based on your individual case and injury.  Usually they try to start conservatively with maybe: physical therapy, oral-anti-inflammatories.  Then sometimes they may try a round of oral steroid tx to help reduce swelling.  Then they may try epidural injections whereever the site/sites that are injured or some other type of injection depending on the injury.  When everything else has been tried then the md may suggest surgery.  I am not an md, just someone with spine problems.  All of this of course is hypothetical because you have not stated that you even have any disc problems or spine issues.
