Happy Halloween

This is kind of a day late because I was busy Halloween and then I was too tired to do anything later in the night.  Oh well I guess it works because I was going to ask how everyone's Halloween was and what they did anyway which would be kinda stupid to do before the day was over.  I didn't really do much except worked and ordered a pizza made like a jack o lantern and had a little bit to drink compared to how much I used to drink last year which was what caused me to get exhausted by magnifying my already tiredness.

So how was your Halloween and what did you do?

Perhaps there are some other movies that have also caused these problems. Hmmm.... I remember not liking Starship Troopers that much. Or, I know, The Warriors of Virtue, that movie with the ninja kangaroos. I'm sure that killed a few brain cells.

Haha... although it is a funny thought, movies that should be awesome just are not that great a lot of times any more. It is sad. :(

Hey me too!  Maybe Transformers 2 has like an ability to creep back through time and infect you as well.  Hmm... I smell government conspiracy... <_<  Haha it'd be nice though if it WAS like "Yeah, just avoid Transformers 2 and you'll be cured."

LOL... I wish it was transformers 2 that caused me to lose concentration. That would be an easy fix. My doctor could say, "Just avoid the transformers 2 movie and you should be fine." Yay!

Sadly, no, I have a lot of trouble concentrating. I get confused pretty easily or lose my train of thought. It is one of my main features of bipolar, I guess. This is a feature that seems to be getting worse as I age. When I was a kid I was very quick witted and I never forgot anything. I have seen a sharp decline in my memory in the past 3 years or so. Also my ability to complete tasks has diminished at an alarming rate.

I just keep track of it on the mood tracker.

I do recommend you check out those other films. They are amazing, at least I think so.

Transformers 2 was actually dragged out for too long and I had trouble following it too because I just couldn't stay focused on it continually.  After about 30 minutes I thought it might of got bad reviews so I looked online and sure enough it did.

I saw Spirited Away and was going to watch Howl's Moving Castle but never got around to it.  My mom rented a couple of the other movie ones you listed but I wasn't there when they watched them otherwise they'd be in my former list instead and I wouldn't be writing this sentence.  Maybe you're having trouble concentrating from where you're still feeling the effects of watching Transformers 2.  lol

Well, Halloween was also me and my husbands 5 year aniversary. So we ordered Chinese for lunch and then it was actually a busy day with going to the store and the airport and such. A lot of errands. We didn't get out to trick or treat until 8:00. My little boy was Wow Wow Wubzzy (kids show) and my oldest was King Boo from Super Mario Bros. Series. (He has always loved Mario Bros.) And his step-cousin was Luigi. So we went up and down the street 1 time and most of the houses were already done or we were their last people. But my step-mom ended up dumping the rest of her candy in their pumpkin buckets so they still got a ton. But, not a lot of chocolate this year.

Well, so since Halloween was so busy we rented a bunch of movies for All Soul's Day. We rented Transformers 2, which I had trouble following since I have not been doing so great the last week or so, it was too much action and I couldn't follow the story. But we also go Year 1, Land of the Lost, Observe and Report, and Monsters vs. Aliens. All in all it was a good day.

I also really like anime. My favorites are Tri-Gun, The Slayers series, and Tenchi Muyo Universe series, Cowboy Beebop, Apple Seed, New Dominion Tank Police, Black Magic M66, and so many others like Escaflone, Fushigi Yugi.... the list just sort of goes on. And I'm a really big fan of Miazaki actually. I just love his story telling and his art style, those stories always really resonate with me, but I will say Castle in the Sky, Nausica of Wind Valley, Princess Mononoke, Spirted Away, and Howell's Moving Castle are my favorite ones. I never like the ones like Big O. I don't like that style so much. I also don't really like that older style, I can't remember the name of it. Sorry about my spelling I'm sort of having some trouble right now concentrating. :(

We took the grandkids, zoro and his princess seniorita on a hay ride to different blocks to get candy with the grandparents or parents or aunts and uncles. This one neighborhood we have gone to for years is awesome, they go way out to trick and treat the kids.  The hayride was son in laws flattrailor and we had lights on it all around, hayseats covered with sleeping bags and blankets when they got cold.  Usually my husband gets pumpkins from a farm up north but his hands hurt so much right now that he could not cut the"drawings/scribbles" the grandbabies would make.  Two years ago we could fit one at a time, the kids, into one of the pumpkins he carved.......anyone else wierd and like the innerds of the pumpkin to eat? Raw?...not seeds we bake those, the gooey stuff and pulp.  Ok um.....sure....I don't either, really.

Hey nothing wrong with anime, well I like the ones anyway that have a serious plot like Trigun, Full Metal Alchemist, Gungrave, Hellsing, Black Lagoon and so on.  My favorite one so far was Elfen Lied.  I mean hey humor and silliness in an anime are cool just I don't know it has to have a serious main plot.  Ones like Big O were alright though it seemed like every season finale they just created even more questions than answers.  Don't really care much for the ones that are just mindless except for a few exceptions like FLCL.  The foam swords thing sounds to me like something like Belegarth.  That has critics who say it's stupid but I participated in it for a short while with a small group before I moved away and it's pretty fun beating the hell out of each other without having to worry about breaking bones and such.  The guy who introduced us all to it was far superior than the rest of us and my reflexes for non-repetitive things going on around you has always been kinda slow.  My sister has also been making anime music videos for years now and has a channel on youtube which youtube's Nazi regime has taken some of them down due to copyright infringement.  I dunno what happened to fair use.  You should watch AMV Hell, each of them are filled with funny anime music videos like one where Vegeta from DBZ is singing the Whitney Houston song I Will Always Love You.  I had some friends who cosplayed before as anime characters but now pretty much all the people I know now who dress up in costumes are furries which also has a lot of critics but they just do it for the persona and not literally thinking they're not human beings and going retarded with it.

I actually went to an anime convention (yeah I know sound the nerd alert) sigh ^_^....

we went (me and my bf) Browsed around a bit went and look at all the video games and booths they had. There are all kinds of diffrent memorbillai they have gothic lolotia lcothing everywhere and diffrent kinds of dresses skirts outfits they have everything anime you can imagine key chains, wallets, shirts, posters, actions figures and videos (some of them x rated). The other big thing they have is the game room with all kinds of diffrent fighter malee type games and tournaments. We sorta just checked all of it out ....We also went by the battlegrounds which is a place where they basicly have people wack and fight each other with foam swords we tried that for a bit too.
then I wanted to see the anime music videos awards which is basicly where people send in their videos of songs and footage from anime all synced up to match music.. they pick a few and show em. They have all kinds some are synched up with all the kissing and hand holding scenes with a kinda cute or melooncholoy love song others
have all the real suspenceful fight scenes with real drastic rock or upbeat music. The ones they show are normally really good because they pick a few fianalist out of hundreds of entries so.....
They have diffrent catagories you can win like drama or action and if you win you get tickets to the renissiance festival....Afterwards we ate lunch at a nice little italian resturrant  next door; then we went to eat we went back and just kinda played games and chilled for a bit.

Once we were done playing games.... they have a cosplay show. Its where a buncha nerds dress up as their favorite characters from animes and video games its fun to see all kinds of diffrent weird  outfits and stage props.   some people even go as far as cross dressing.  they had a few preformances were people sang. Then they had difffrent skits on stage where people acted out scenes with a bunch of pop culture jokes and such alot of them were pretty funny. For the last one they had a dating game I tink that one was the funniset. Afterwards they present the awards for whose costume was best presentation or most dramatic and stuff along those lines. It was pretty good but it lasted almost 3 hours. The last thing we did was went to the rave they threw. We stayed there and danced for awhile and didn't get home till late so by that time I was real tired and went to bed

Honestly just got the heck out of the city with family and went to a nature preserve for an extended walk. Halloween is an anniversary date of both (coincidentally at different times) the onset of my psychiatric disability and physical disability so I didn't want to be reminded of it. I did leave candy for the trick or treaters outside the door though and about half was gone when I came back. Everything went well in general except we got lost at the preserve which was unnerving as I didn't have my prescriptions with me (mistake) but thankfully someone gave us back a ride to where the car was parked. I adjusted my medications for the standard adjustment as regards daylight savings time but because they are activating I was up most of the night. So half good half bad. Past Halloweens were better when I was younger including going to the Halloween parade but as you grow older you kind of grow out of the holiday but it depends on each person.
