It never hurts to get a second opinion.
Thanks, I will look for the fish oil!
There is some research that says Omega 3/Fish Oil will lift depression. I think it really works. They have it at Walmart in a once a day formula. If you take it in the morning it helps the day go by better.
I hope you feel better and good luck next week with the doctor. Keep me posted.

Thank you. Yes, I am deficient in B vitamins, I used to get shots of B12 at my doctors, but now they say I'm fine. (I have been taking a B50 complex now though.) If I have chocolate or bread or any kind of food really, it triggers my eating disorder greatly so I don't have much food in my place anymore. I have one more week to wait until I see my psychiatrist and I'll see what they can do for me.
It sounds like bipolar 2 disorder and you are cycling between the two. One day happy the next day depressed. The racing thoughts is part of the mania and the eating disorder is part of the depression.
There is hope for you.
In the mean time try to go to bed at an earlier hour. Avoid caffeine. Staying up late can cause more depression. You might be deficient in B vitamins too that causes depression. Eating bread and a little bit of dark chocalte that helps with depression.
Take care
Thanks for your replies. I am waiting to see my psych again, but that is 2 weeks away and I'm really suffering. I was reading about Cyclothymia, and it was saying that one of the meds used to treat it is Seroquel. I was given Seroquel 2 times and both times it caused me to have horrible hallucinations.
I feel like I just need something to calm me down and stop the racing thoughts so I just sit down and think for one second. I'm also now dealing with a severe eating disorder that just sprung up again. I am thinking about just going to see my family doctor and taking whatever drugs they will give me. I've had enough. Most antidepressants also cause me to have memory loss and I do a bunch of weird things without knowing it, and my life turns around in a completely different direction, but at least all of this pain will be gone.
I don't know whether you are or aren't bipolar but ask your doc about cyclothymia, as well as other forms of the disorder. Cyclothymia is a form of bipolar (I was diagnosed with this) that as I understand, has less severe manic episodes. The deppressive episodes are extremely severe for me, last much longer, and occur more frequently than the manic episodes. My manic episodes actually mimic the behavior of a type-A personality rather than the behavior of a person in a manic state. Also, if you haven't already, I'd suggest that you get psychological testing done. Basically, it is a series of questions about your symptoms that you answer so the doctor can make a diagnosis. If you answer the questions honestly, and to the best of your ability, and have a good psych interpret it, you should get a correct diagnosis. Good luck!
There are many types of bipolar. Not all involve extreme mania. Some have more of the aspects of depression. And anxiety can be part of it as well or occur concurrently as well as loss of concentration and trouble sleeping. There are some websites linked up on the welcome page for information about mood disorders and their treatment that would be helpful to further understand bipolar and discuss with your psychiatrist to understand things better.
