Is it selfish to have family take care of you when unable to get disabiliy

I guess it depends on the situation and what you are talking about.  Sometimes getting disability is hard.  Do you have bipolar?  Lots of people do work with bipolar.  I'd say if you can work, you should.  It also can help with feeling good about yourself and that type of thing.  It can be depressing to not be independent financially.  However, if your disability prevents you from being able to work, then you should keep applying for it.  Is your family currently supporting you?
