An Unquiet Mind
A Memoir of Moods and madness
by 'Kay Redfield Jamison
"The Up and Down Life" by Paul E. Jones
Patty Duke has a good book on the subject with a Q&A format..
(currently reading Call Me Ted by Ted Turner, let you know if any good)
Break the Bipolar Cycle by Elizabeth Brondolo, Ph.D.
Bipolar Disorder Survival Guide by David J. Miklowitz, Ph.D.
Manic-Depressive Illness by Frederick K. Goodwin and Kay Redfield Jamison
Bipolar Disorder for Dummies by Candida Fink, MD
I've read bits and pieces of all of these and found them all to be quite good. Break the Bipolar Cycle hit the nail on the head such that as I was reading I kept thinking, wow, she knows me.
I've got to go or I'd say more, but there's one last one relating specifically to therapy, though not specifically to therapy for BPers:
