Very sluggish after exercise!

I have bi-polar 2 disorder.  I have done great for two years with the combo of lamictal and wellbutrin.  My doc says exercise!  I try, but it brings on the sluggish, overly tired, physically exhausted, disconnected feeling i used to get, when not on meds, but not as extreme.  This is the exact opposite of what exercise is supposed to do for me.  It lasts for 4-5 days, feel better, try to exercise again (treadmill), then cycle starts all over.  It scares me because I feel really close to a relapse even though i am on meds. I would appreciate anyones take on what is going on.

Interesting, the thought that the mental imbalance could cause emotional wear to the point of exhaustion. Not necessarily of the body but of the mind which could feel physical as the mind controls the body and is driven by emotion. Brilliant hypothesis, simply brilliant.

I do the same thing!!  I exercise when I am stable and feeling top notch, otherwise I don't.  I find myself wanting too, but I feel so sluggish on meds.  It sucks.  I think BP plays on the moods so much, it causes fatigue!
