Hi there,
We would encourage you to seek advice from your medical professional before changing the schedule of your medication. Not sleeping is awful, but in order to keep you as healthy as possible, a doctor's input is definitely needed.
Best wishes and please update us.

If it effects your sleep you could ask your psychiatrist whether you could take the 2 mg. Risperdal dose in the A.M. In general Risperdal is sedating but can sometimes cause sleep disruption but each person responds differently to each medicaation. It would also depend on whether it would make you tired during the day. Also you could ask if the dose could be titrated (spaced out) into two or more doses during the day. All of this could be discussed with your psychiatrist and they could work with you to come to an appropriate decision within their clinical discretion.
Oh my god rispredol is the ******* devil. I went into sleep paralysis on that junk. Only thing I can personally take and still do my job is abilify.
