thank you.. it's good to know it's not abnormal for me to have these episodes...i just have to control them when they erupt.

My understanding is that there is no cure for Bipolar. Therefore the meds and med combo's we try will help us, but not take 100 percent of our symptoms away. I just started Lamictal yesterday and am currently taking Lithium.

I used to and still had episodes at that time. You may need to change the dose, add another medication, or even change medication completely if you are still having episodes and have been on it a good while.
