Can't stop bleeding on Placebo Period

I was on ultra low dose BC pills for 2 months, continuous....and was having breakthrough bleeding the 3rd week in .  The last pack, It didn't stop, so they raised the dosage to new bcp with .35mcg.  I started that pack and within a few days the breakthrough bleeding turned to spotting.  I am going on a vacation August 19-29 and will be having a sexual relationship with someone during that time, which is why i went on BCP in the first place.  Gyno said that we should be able to not have btb by then, Just give myself a period off this pack and then go continuous thru the end of August.  Week before placebo period, ALL bleeding stopped, I was so happy.  So placebo time, expecting normal pill period.  What I got was nonstop bleeding, ,(not heavy, just nonstop) with big clots, and heavy cramping, so bad it landed me in the ER .  was told my another Gyno, start back up on BCP take 4 one day, then 3, then 2, then 1 and go back to 1.   On my day of taking 2,, I finally got ahold of MY gyno, and told him what was going on .  He said to do it a bit longer and put me on BCP for 4 pills, for 3 days, 3 pills 3 days, 2 pills for the rest of the month.   The period is still here, and I just finished the 3rd day of taking 4 pills.  Tomorrow I move on to taking 3 pills.  It has gotten a little lighter, but still bright red, thin, with clots and not so bad cramping.   He said if this doesn't work my only option is surgery.  I'm hoping this works, because I have to stop bleeding by the 19th :( or my trip and everything is just ruined.  I am at a loss, I am heartbroken, and devastated that this would even happen and worried sick.  Gyno won't even see me.  Won't respond to my messages...and just says it should stop within 48 hours of taking the first dose of pills...It's been 48 hours, and its still there.......My other doc,, she says have faith in what he says, but at the same time, I'm scared it won't stop by the 19th when I am scheduled to fly out.. I need to know if anyone has had this happen and had good results, or if you can give me some idea, or encouragement..or anything right now...I spend most of my days just crying my eyes out, because Im so heartbroken....thinking if i would have just stayed on the pill continous, i probably wouldn't have had this "weird period"
