Does taking the pill at different times affect birth control?

I wake up Monday through Friday at 5:20 am because of school. On weekends I wake up at (usually) from 8 to 10. Does the irregular times make my birth control less affective? I'd like to know, because my boyfriend and I are becoming more physical in our relationship.
Thanks!

It should be taken 24 hours apart each day.  Set a cell phone alarm so you don't forget to take it at the same time daily.  You could switch to evenings with the next pack if that will make it easier.
