Mirena fell out pregnancy question?
Hi my name is to Brenda and in July 17,2012 I decided to try the mirena due to the fact that was tired if taking birth control pills everday! So I bled for a good 6 days after insertion and in August 16,2012 I got another period that lasted 4 days! So here comes September and no period which I considered normal due to the fact that I had the mirena in place! So on September 22,2012 while using the restroom I felt something come out that didnt feel normal (sorry TMI) so I turned and looked and there it was my mirena had some how fallen out! So I took like 516 Hpt and all were negative! So I called the doctor and they told me to wait for my October period so I did! Here comes October and nothing took another hpt and still negative! I have been feeling really sick to my stomach and one day I also blacked out which that never happened only with my first pregnancy in my first trimester! So I was wondering what can be going on my headaches are so bad and I so tired recently! I am wondering if I can be pregnant because me and my husband were having sexual intercourse! Please and wants someone opinion. I will apreciate it so much and thank you for taking the time to read my story!
Ok so I had an ultrasound done and they found an ovarian cyst and I am happy to say that I am not pregnant! He perscribed me some medecation to start my period! I am starting back on my good old birth control pills!! :)i Not going to ever get the mirena again!!
Thank you Samantha for your reply! I am currently not using anything but condoms so far just until I find out whats going! I am going to wait until my November period to see if I get it! I am so sorry to hear that you got that desease! Can you still have kids even though you have that? Was your baby born healthy did you have any issues during your pregnancy? I really dont want to be pregnant because I just had my son in May and he was born premature that was the hardest thing I had to go through in all my life! I took another hpt yesterday morning and still negative! Is it even possible to still be pregnant and get a negative on a hpt?
Hey brenda im samantha i have had the mirena and i had many issues with it i got pelvic inflamatory disease from it and got pregnant while on it. the issues you are having are condusive to pregnancy and if you have had the mirena reinserted it will most likely give you a false negative. however i do suggest you get on a different form of birth control the mirena is not the safest route to take clearly. good luck hun.
