Morning after pill

Hi, I took a morning after pill because my bf's condom broke, he pulled out right before he did anything..  I took the pill about an hour afterwords (next step or next choice) im kind of worried because I don't really know how this works, I've never tooken birth control and it was only my second time having sex.  I'm mostly worried because I usually have my period by now. This is day 2 of the pill. Usually I start my period between the end of the month to around the 5th of the month. Will my period be late because of the pill or will it even work? I'm cramping pretty bad and have yellow discharge. How do I know if this is really going to work? I pretty much took the pill very close to when I'm supposed to start my period. I'm very worried

Relax. As everyone knows, the morning after pill disrupts your hormones which then causes you next period to either be later or to not come at all. There's nothing for you to be worried about. What's happening to you happens to everyone who takes plan b. Just read the five million other posts on here about this exact same question.
