Should I start a new round of birth control?

About two weeks ago, I was a few hours late on taking my birth control pill, like 2 hours late. The next day, I started my period that lasted a full 7 days.  I continued finishing the rest of the months supply and I took my last pill of the pack 2 days ago. I should have started another cycle by today, but just spotted a little bit this morning. Should I go ahead and start a new pack since I technically got my period early? Or wait a few more days to see if I get another period? Just wondering if that early period threw off my cycle. Should i be expecting 2 periods this month? Little confused. Thanks for any advice.
