Will doctors know if I have a contraceptive implant

I was persuaded into an arranged marriage late last year after many months of uncertainty. I married as a virgin and had many many reservations about the marriage especially as I had to leave the country temporarily for it (a promised 1 year). Without telling anyone I had a birth control implant put into me.

I out the implant in because I did not want to be irresponsible and give birth to a child with an arranged marriage that may not be what was promised. It seems I was right to do this.

It has been 8 months since I got married and now my husband and in laws are begining to question why I have not become pregnant yet. Honestly before i even married I was told due to my irregular period I would have trouble conceiving anyway. So I have stuck to this story and told them that it may not be possible for me to conceive.

Now they want to take me for fertility tests which I am fighting to avoid especially as my husbands sister is a doctor.

If I were to go for fertility tests...would the doctors know I have the implant in? If no, what would the tests come up as?

I cannot get pregnant. If I do...I will be stuck here forever. I want to go home and I dont want a child to be born into this life of mine. Please help!!!
