recurring yeast infections

I've been getting recurring yeast infections for the past six months. I've been treated with flagyl, fluconazole, over the counter suppositories and nothing works, it just keeps coming back. I am on birth control (orthotricycline) do you think the pill could be causing my recurring yeast infections?

Try probiotics. I had the same problem and when I started taking probiotics I haven't had a yeast infection since. You can buy them at a health store and they have to be refrigerated. Ask ur obgyn first tho .
Hope this helps.
Let me know if it works for u.

Hi Babes
I've heard that the pill can cause yeast infections. When i was on the pill i suffered terribley with thrush, when i stopped taking my birth control pill the thrush went less till i didn,t suffer, i blamed my infections on the pill and i also heard by a few ladies the same. When i was suffering i was told by my GP to make sure i was clean down below which was not even an issue as i bathed 2-3 times daily due to feeling grubby all the time as i was suffering with yeast infections, also sex wasn't an issue as i went 2yrs without having intercourse, so i would say it was my birth control pill. Never suffered since:0)
Hope i've helped. Good Luck babes.
