Hey ladies. This is my second pack of my new birth control, but during the first pack I had bleeding on the active pill… and NO bleeding on the placebo. Why would this be?
I even took 2 pregnancy test just to be sure.

Hi there.  Some women have irregular bleeding the first couple of months when starting birth control.  This normally doesn't last long and you go to the predictable pattern you expect from birth control.  So, I"d guess this is your body adjusting to the hormones.  If you are concerned, you can use a back up method of bc such as condoms but your pill is likely working just trying to normalize with the added hormones of the pill. You can always check in with your doctor to confirm that.

This is my 2nd brand of birth control, just a new brand is all. Thank you for advice though!! I’ve been freaking out about being pregnant even though I took 2 tests 2 1/2 weeks apart to be sure.
Is this any better now?
