Mixed Signals on Birth Control PLEASE HELP

I am on the birth control Lo Loestrin Fe and I am now 3 days into my third month's pack (I'm also a very good pill taker- I take my pill no later than an hour after I am supposed to, and that's rare). I had unprotected sex (with pull out method)  five and six days before the start of my sugar pills. I am now also 6 days late on my period- or so I think. I had medium to light spotting for 4 days before I began my 2nd packs sugar pills, and when I was supposed to have a period I didn't- could that have been my period? I took a First Response test the day of my missed period and it was negative. I don't have any specific pregnancy symptoms that doesn't tie to birth control or PMS/Ovulation. I have a few occasional headaches that are not unusual to me, some dull/random cramping, little to no CM (it's white, crumbly, and not very much- I just find a little bit in my thong. But just last night I seemed more wet than usual, so it confused me), I have had some dull pain in my calves but it could be my workout/lifting routine or due to BCP, and I feel dehydrated because I know for a fact I do not get enough liquids in my body during they day and I have had a possible mild UTI in the past week or so with a cold. I am active, and trying to improve the healthy of my life and I am not prepared to be pregnant as I am busy getting a college degree. I plan to test again on 9 days late- will this test be accurate with first morning pee? What do you think the likeness of me being pregnant is? The only "sign" that I have that is throwing me off is that I check my cervical position everyday and when I spotted it was low and hard, and now this week right now it seems high and soft and I cannot tell if it's closed- it shouldn't be my ovulation time. I'm so confused. My GYNO doesn't really help me much, so I need help that's why I made this detailed. Thank you! Xo

You could possibly be pregnant which you obviously already know. When I was pregnant with my son, I had no symptoms until after I actually found out. I tested positive a day before my missed period, with a dollar store brand test. I would think that with a normal 28 day cycle, having sex on the 23 & 24th days is a bit late to conceive since most typically ovulate around 14 days-though it is not impossible. If I were you, I would go to a local dollar store, buy a few tests, take one today & if negative, take another in a few days. Good luck!

Any of the Loestrin family of pills has been marketed to majorly lighten periods, most of the women on it have reported no period. So it's not unusual to have a substantially lighter or even absent period on any of the loestrins. I think that if you keep taking tests that come back negative then you're getting the benefit of the shorter/lighter/no period. If that bothers you, you can always switch to another pill.

I tested positive with my son at 2.5-3 weeks pregnant, like I said a day before my period was due-meaning I knew before I even had a late period. Factors that can dilute your urine making the hcg harder to detect would be not using first morning urine, drinking a lot of water to make yourself pee for the test, etc. However, I did not use first morning urine and it was still detected. If you are extremely worried, get a very sensitive test like first response which is more likely to detect the hcg. The dollar store tests work fine for me, as well as my friend who just took one at 2 weeks and a few days pregnant and got a positive result. Because they are only a dollar, you can afford to get 2-3 and take one today, one in a few days, and so on until you either test positive or get your period. Also note, the stress of thinking you are pregnant could be making you late.

Would that test be accurate? I've read so much that some people don't get a positive result until 8+ weeks pregnant and that makes me very anxious. I'm in a very rough situation with needing to know..
