Starting Birth Control Pill

I’m 17 years old and I’m thinking about getting birth control pills. I actually want to get the 28 day Pill Pack, but where I live, they only sell “Yaz” and “Yasmin” ( 28 day pill pack)and I only heard bad things about those two pills, so my only option is to get the 21 day pill pack. If I start taking it, I have to take it everyday at the same time for 21 days and then have a 7 day break. What if I get my period during the 7 day break and it stops before the 7 day break finishes. Should I wait until the 7 days are over or should I immediately start a new pack once my period ends? I was thinking about getting marvelon or regulon. Maybe one of you know if it’s good. Thank you so much in advance!!
