2 inch diameter ecchymosis on buttock - bleeding issue?

I have a blue and red 2 inch diameter ecchymosis on my left buttock. I have had many frequent episodes of bruising but nothing as severe as this and I am not sure why.

The ecchymosis is not causing any widespread pain and I have not injured myself in any way, but I am getting aches and pains in my left thigh and down my leg and into my foot. My legs and feet have been very swollen, due to the hot weather I guess, and the puffiness goes down by the next morning.

I have a history of hypothyroidism; vitamin D deficiency; vitamin B12 low: iron deficiency; folate deficiency.

White cell count when last tested came back low in range but has always been mid range or higher, might this be an issue?

Thank you
