I have a bad bruise on my shin.

It's been like this for almost three weeks now, as of Saturday it will be three. I was playing softball and fouled the ball into my shin, the previous weekend I'd hit it in the exact same spot twice and already had the bruise their and still had
the stiches from the softball imprinted in my shin. After hitting it again, I was able to finish batting but had a very weak swing and couldn't put that much pressure. We played one more game after and I ended up running a lot but felt no pain when I kept my mind off it. It doesn't hurt when I walk anymore (if I wear pants I have to put something over it though because it irritates my bruise) but I still have a big bump and three stitch lines from the softball. I see our doctor Monday for a regular check up, is this something I should ask about or let it be for a while longer?

Hi, sorry for the late reply but I would definitely show it to your doctor.  I wonder if it could be a bone bruise.
3 weeks is a long time.
Are you on any blood thinners? Aspirin? Ibuprofen?
Sorry I can't help more
Good luck
