Has anyone tried audiobooks?

Thinking about trying it out.. anyone have any suggestions/thoughts?  I figure my busy schedule and lack of 'sit-down-time-with-a-book' would be conducive to listening to books while I run errands, get around the city, etc.

Hmmmm....good idea if I sit long enough to listen.  I listen to sermons in the car traveling to work.

Look up Net Library.  If your local Library has a contract with them you can download books for free.  You just "check them out" with your library card online!

I love audio books.  I can listen while I'm driving to work.  I do that with the scriptures too especially since I'm so busy and seem to never have time to read and my drive to work is about 45 minutes long.

Audible is great, works out to $10 a book, including new releases.  I could get better prices for paperbacks on Amazon but you can't work out nearly as easily carrying a paperback around.

I love Bernard Cornwell. I have his "Warlord Trilogy" on audio. I just have it playing in the background sometimes.

I can recommend the audio thing. It's good for the Soul................
