Anyone with a prolactinoma? Scared...please help

I have not had any symptoms except for amenorrhea and low libido for 3 years. I have not sought help till now because I could not afford it as my insurance had a 5000 deductible. Anyway, I get my blood results in and my prolactin level was 230 ng/ml. I had an MRI done today and I am terrified of the results. It seems like no matter what I read about them being begin benign, I still find myself scared.
Anyone been through this before? What was your prolactin level. It seems like everything I read people just have slightly elevated levels.

Hello. If it is a prolactinoma, they will start with medication and see if it lowers your levels.

I do hope that if you have one (hope not) that you seek out competent help to manage your meds. A regular endo is not qualified to handle a pituitary tumor.

My levels were slightly elevated and the doctor did not believe I even could have a tumor. Levels do not correlate to tumor. It can also be thyroid, other medications and even stress.
