Brain tumor and/or other serious issue?

I'm a 23 yr old male with the following problems. Almost a year ago, I started getting recurring headaches every single day. They tailed off after awhile, but a lingering feeling of pressure was left, and now I basically have this pressure/pain in my right ear every day. I really don't have any of common symptoms of a brain tumor, but this has been going on for nearly a year and I'm really getting nervous. I figured if it were a brain tumor, I'd have worse symptoms after almost a year of feeling this way. A CT scan diagnoses a sinus polyp, but from everything I've read a sinus polyp doesn't cause this ear pain. Additionally, I've been more sensitive to light and loud noises. Any ideas you have would be great, thanks.

I agree the sinus polyp does not cause headaches. After the MRI, let us know what you find out.

After reading up on cluster headache symptoms, it doesn't seem to match up. I did tell my ENT about the ear, he said the sinus polyp wasn't causing it. As I said, I'm just worried because the pressure seems to be focalized on the right ear and the surrounding area. I've looked into TMJ but I have no jaw pain, I'll be getting an MRI this week I'm just scared to death its a brain tumor...

You are a male, males tend to have cluster headaches. As well, if you never treat your migraines, they can go on and on and on and worsen. There also could be an underlying reason for them but since you had the CT and the CT was clear, pretty much brain tumor is out. There is trigeminal neuralgia that can focus on a side of the face, but that can come and go too.

Did you tell the ENT about the ear?

Thanks for your help! I had a CT scan last February which was what showed the sinus polyp. I saw a neuro in April, didn't think it was anything series. Saw an ENT a little before that who said that the sinus polyp wasn't causing headaches. From everything I've read, migraines don't last this long, and as I said, now the pain seems to be focalized in my right ear..

I am not clear about your post - did you have a CT? If you did, then that would have found any tumor.
As for ear pain, have you seen an ENT? A neuro?  Have you been diagnosed with migraines? Your symptoms of sensitive to light and loud noises is classic migraine! You should go see a neuro and get on a couple of medications - one to prevent them, one to take if one breaks through.
