Cystic changes of the choroid plexus in the lateral ventricles
I recently experienced dizziness for a week before I went to the ER and they did all kinds of tests. The CT scan showed that I have cystic changes of the choroid plexus in the lateral ventricles. Can you tell me what this means? Do I need to see a Neurologist?
The ER doctor told me to follow up with my primary and I did, She was not sure what it meant but she is referring me to a Neurologist and I'm waiting for the authorization to see a specialist.
What did the ER doc say - did they make a referral?
Dizziness can be a funny thing - it can be ears, sinus, hormones, low BP... so it can come from so many places that is has to be evaluated and really the source has to be found.
I am not familiar with that change so I cannot comment (I am a patient). Have you been to an ENT? That is the usual first stop.
