My mother, age 84, has undergone treatment for a brain lymphoma over the last 15 months. Her last radiation treatment was in October of 2018. She is having episodes of dementia/Alzheimer like symptoms currently. This has happened before but then went away. Also, her MRI's (she has had one every 4-5 weeks for the last 5 months) show areas of "enhancement" that are there with one MRI but gone with the next. Doctors in 2 different hospitals agree that this is not "typical" of lymphoma tumors (they don't just go away) but there is no real answer about these enhanced sites. They seem to correlate with her mental state, however. Has anyone experienced this?
