New Features Here

I am sure that you have noticed that little stars, and those that have started posts recently have received emails asking them to select a best answer.

This is a new feature here on Medhelp - still being tweaked a bit. At first the rating is computed on the number of posts one has made, but as a person gets more "best answers" then the rankings should change a bit. It is optional to select a best answer, it is not mandatory.

There is also another new app - the *questions for you* that is located in your profile. Before using it, I suggest that you adjust the defaults as mine were mental health and some other things that I don't comment on, so check and un-check boxes.

Please not that topics may or may not be under their forums, but under general categories - for instance, this forum is under Cancer. So if you get a best answer here, it shows you as an expert in Cancer. Neurology covers MS, chiari, and neurology. Any suggestions can be made under the forum to *improve medhelp* where it goes directly to the mods.

If you have any general questions, I should be able to help you here.

If you look over to the right, over the ad, there is a tiny options drop down. There you can edit your knowledge categories.

Yes, I asked for a change in that as well as that adrenals are called thyroid. *sigh*. They grouped things in kinda odd ways huh? More tweaks to come!

How I do I adjust my preference of what kind of questions for me I want to receive after the initial opportunity I had?  I want to delete a certain category of questions and I deleted it from my general personal interests but that kind of category is still showing up in the questions.

I had already told them I was uncomfortable with them saying I had an expertise in cancer.  Have you already suggested to them a change on that?
