Patient has brain tumor and brain edema due to RCC metastasis

He has RCC metastatic to the brain and there is edema leading to midline shift by 11mm causing 90 percent unconsciousness how to reduce edema?

I am not a doctor. This is a patient support forum. If I know something from my own experience then I feel comfortable saying it, but there is not enough information here.

In general, they put in a stent to drain off fluids. I hope the person gets better.
