"I just had my surgery two weeks ago. Flowers are nice but the reality is my visitors enjoyed them more than I did since I don't have my sense of smell. I really enjoyed lip balm and comfortable socks! A card is always nice and maybe a book!"
* A good set of ear plugs!
* tea bags
* prunes or magnesium (if dr permits)
* package of Wet Ones wipes(for hands or bed rails, phone, etc)
I moved this post up rather than leave it at the bottom of a huge thread...
I would say flowers are not a good idea. Easy puzzles in books like crosswords, color books, healthy snacks, fruit, lip balm, mints, slipper, soft socks, iTunes or Amazon cards (or whatever goes with their phone or tablet ) insulated cup (no straws post op pit), pajamas, light reading (attention spans are short), saline sprays, wedge pillow, stationery and stamps...
Anyone else with ideas?
