when anxious top of head is wet

hello
this question is not about me but a friend who i am really concerned about. a few times when she has been really anxious, she has got headaches but she says that they are not normal headaches. its a pain inside her head as if it were in the brain and she has felt slight electrical current once or twice. and when this happened the top of her head felt wet ans she's sure it wasnt sweat. we dont know whats goin on. otherwise when she's happy everything is normal. i am really concerned about this. even though its happened twice i cant stop thinking. is this dangerous? what is going on? is this something serious? please help.

Is your friend able to go to a doctor and get some diagnostic testing to see if the cause is medical?  When thyroid hormones are off, it can really affect the emotions. Has your friend taken her blood pressure when she is getting these feelings of anxiety, brain pain and electrical current feeling?  If so, was it low, normal, slightly elevated or very high?  The electrical current feeling makes me think she ought to check in with a neurologist, if she could.

Do you know if she has had a Pituitary MRI done? With hypothyroidism and PCOS, I would suspect pituitary involvement. How high are her prolactin levels? Does she have copies of all her bloodwork?
Is the wet feeling a sensory thing, or is there actually dampness on her head?
She should ask for an MRI.  Sometimes, PCOS is a misdiagnosis; there is actually a pituitary tumor.
