I had an ultrasound of the left breast and this is what the radiologist has written.

Multiple real time in the breast obtained. At the 11:00 position there is a 1.1 centimeter hypoechoic mass with mild vascularity. Reccommend biopsy. There is a small 4mm adjacent hypoechoic mass to the larger mass which should be removed at the same time.
There is no other wording or rating.
Can anyone explain this to me?
Thank you so much.

I would follow the recommendation of the Radiologist and see a Surgeon about some type of biopsy (probably an excisional biopsy) as well as the removal of the smaller mass as indicated. Biopsy is the only way to determine the nature of a mass. Although no rating was assigned I would consider it BIRADS 4 since a biopsy was recommended. The Surgeon will review your films as well as doing a clinical breast exam and advise you from there.    Regards .....
