please answer!!

i am a 13 year old girl and just now I found a rather large lump under my right nipple. I know it's not just breast buds because I got those maybe less that a year ago. But this isn't directly under if the lump was the base my nipple is way off center. It's pretty hard and twice the size of my nipple. It doesn't hurt even when i apply a lot of pressure. Is it cancer or something?? Please answer!!

Hi,
Please don't worry about the lump being cancerous because at your age it would really be extremely rare. The changes you are going through are very common because at your age your hormones are changing and all this makes breast lumps much more likely during puberty.
If this lump persists after your period is over or seems to be getting bigger quickly, don’t ignore it.Talk to you mom to schedule an appointment to see your Pediatrician for an examination to see if this lump could be a Fibroadenoma or a cyst that could develop in teenagers as well as older women. These lumps are completely harmless.
Take care sweetie…
