Breast change after ultrasound

Had an ultrasound and the same area was gone over very firmly by three different technicians. Since then I can “see” where they did the scan. Is it possible to injure the tissue by using too much pressure? It looked perfectly normal before the procedure.

Hello and welcome to the forum.  Thank you for your question.  I would say it is unusual to have anything permanent happen to your breasts during mammography. It does squeeze us, that is very true.  You don't have implants do you? That would be an instance in which there could be an issue. Is this on the top of your skin such as a visual imprint or your whole breast has changed shape?  It's been a few days since you posted.  Let us know the current status. I would encourage you to call the mammography center you had this done at and inquire or your physician to get some feedback as well.  I don't think this is a common situation.
