Do you think maybe they gave you the taxol because you had the cancerous lesion in your chest lymph nodes? That would make sense, and in that case they wouldn't do a biopsy because it doesn't really matter about your liver as the treatment would be the same? That is what was explained to me. i also have all those liver things and I know it's not cancer and would never undergo a liver biopsy. it really hurts, too. i just think they treated you because of the known cancerous lymphnode, and what they believe about your liver, or suspect is secondary here.

Has there been a biopsy of your liver? What are your physicians telling you about your current health status? Have you consulted a liver specialist? Do you have active cancer anywhere in your body right now?
If you don't have confidence in your current medical team, it's worth getting a second opinion from a different set of physicians and see if they offer you a different approach to caring for your health.
