Pain after biopsy

I am 38. Had a sterotactic bx Feb 20. (3rd one in 2 years, different breasts for microcalcs) Healed well and no cancer.  Starting a few weeks ago, I developed an ache to sharper pain in the lower part of that breast, near the nipple, hurts so bad at times, that I have to hold myself going up and down stairs, or if I brush against it, sleep wrong, it's very sore to the touch. It's hard to excercise, walk fast, bounce.
Could this pain be related to the bx? Scar tissue? Could the metal clip move?

There are no lumps that I can feel, however, that nipple looks larger to me and the breast a bit fuller.

Thanks in advance for your help~

Dear piloto1517:  This could be many possible things but one possibility is infection.  Since the pain is so severe, you should have it evaluated by the breast specialist.

Thanks, I go to my breast specialist in little over a week, that was the soonest I could get an apt.

Anything I can do in the meantime, hot compresses?

it wouldn't have to do with the metal clip, per se, but indeed infection is a possibility. If you develop redness or fever you need to be seen right away. Meanwhile, hot compresses might help; and, in case it's due to fibrocystic change which can affect one breast more than the other, you could stop all caffeine while you wait for your appointment.
