Should I worry about colored spots on a doppler Ultrasound?

I just had a right breast US today as a follow-up to an asymmetry found in my mammogram last week. For some reason I had the assumption that if all looked normal, they would tell me right away. The tech asked me to dress and wait for her, but when she came back, she said my doctor will get the report in a couple of days and I would hear from my doc. The US showed a dark, kinda pitchfork-looking area and the doppler showed a large red/yellow spot and a couple of blue spots near it. Now I'm a bit worried. Any advice?

Hello mrsot!  Very sorry I am now just responding but we thank you for our question.  The good news here is that you get mammograms and follow up appropriately if you have an abnormal one.  I so appreciate your follow up post stating the findngs.  They looked into the spots and although you were birad 2, they are benign cysts?  Are they going to remove them, aspirate them?  What is the plan?  Again, thank you for posting on MedHelp.
