Yes it could be ..... Fibroadenomas frequently cause discomfort and breast cancer rarely does. It could however be totally unrealated; you should have your results by the middle of the week. Cysts can also contain both liquid and solid. Regards .....
Is Fibroadenomas different from Fibor Cystic? I'm now being told the mass has nothing to do with Fibor Cystic.
A Fibroadenoma is a benign solid tumor of the breast. Fibrocystic Breast Condition is used when the woman seems to be subject to the development of both cysts and Fibroadenomas. Both these findings are believed to be related to hormone levels in some slight way. I'll be anxious to hear from you when you receive your biopsy results. Take care ......
Hello an wishing you all the best. Please keep us updated with your results. Were all here for you.
Take care.
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. 2 Tumors, one has Stage 0 & Stage 1 and the other one has Stage 1. My Dr told me after all the tests we will know more, but that is what the biopsy sowed and that I'm not a candidate for hormone therapy. I have all my appts set up for next week (Breast MRI, Radiology Oncologist, PET/CT Scan, Medical Oncologist) I don't think it hit me yet.
Sorry to hear you have received this diagnosis!
I imagine you are feeling shocked at getting this result, and a bit overwhelmed by all the appointments and tests that are already scheduled.
Usually the Stage is not determined until additional evaluation has been completed, but if the Stage information you have been given turns out to be correct, that would be good news, as it would mean your breast cancer has been caught at an early, treatable point.
Please keep up posted regarding how you are doing. We care, and are here to help.
Best wishes...
Sorry to hear the results of your biopsies but this is early and this is very important when it comes to treatment. From all the appointments you listed you may be too busy for it to "hit you" right now but this might be a good thing too. Hopefully you can approach this as a sort of JOB that needs to be completed one step at a time with a positive attitude. Keep us posted now and stay focused on the end result rather than the little bumps along the way. Take care ....
Well, after all tests I've been told I have a total of 4 tumors, 1 is approx 3 cm, and 3 smaller ones. Stage 2 because of size. I have 2 opinions, 1 Dr feels the best option is a mastectomy another Dr wants to start chemo to see how much of the cancer her can shrink. At this point I have to decide which direction to go. I'm leaning more toward starting chemo. Does anyone have any advice as to which is best???
