Solid nodules

Hi
I would like a little insight on my report and would like to ask a couple of questions :)
I have been going through breasts exams the last few years with cysts showing up and last years reports show on ultrasound that I have multiple cysts and multiple complex cysts. Now this year my Ultrasound report states:

Both breasts today contain numerous cysts. Also in the left breast at the 3 and 6o'clock positions there are nodular type structures. The 3 o'clock lesion measures 6mm. This lady has numerous lesions in both breasts, making interpretation by ultrasound somewhat difficult.

Because of Interval of time since previous examination of nearly one year, I would recommend a repeat MRI of the breasts for surveillance and also to evaluate the apparent new solid nodule in the left breast at the 3 o'clock position.

I will be going in October to a breast specialist finally :)  and they will be doing a mammogram and ultrasound there again to find out whats going on.
My question is:

Are solid nodules bad?
Numerous Lesions?
Nodular type structures?
Are all of these things bad? Should I be a bit more worried this time around?
My mind is going in circles going from convincing myself its nothing again and going to thoughts of it could be cancer..... arrggg. I have tried to read allot on the topics and I would rather know the good and the bad and take it from there but I thought maybe someone could add in there two cents worth on this subject and give me a little more help ?
Thank you in advance

A nodule is a solid mass/ structure or whatever term is used. They are not necessarily bad .... Fibroadenomas are solid and they are benign. I'm not sure why you aren't having the MRI that was recommended by the Radiologist as this is a much more valuable tool for diagnosis. It was stated that the Ultrasound was not of much value in this particular instance. Numerous lesions refers to the many cysts that you state you have had for some time. All of the findings can be either something or nothing to worry about. Actually I thought we all worried when something new was discovered ... we are afterall very human and we're pretty good at worrying. I really wouldn't advise too much reading .... hardly any literature is specific enough to relate to "our own" condition. It's good to be informed but don't overdo it, OK ?? It's good that you are seeing a Breast Specialist ... I'm sure your questions and concerns will be answered. Be sure when you go that you take a written list of them .... we tend to get stressed out and forget half of what we wanted to know. Regards ...

Side note:
I have only spoken to the Nurse from the specialists office and will only meet the specialist when I go down for my appointment which is a five hour drive from here.
It states on the report at the 3 and 6 o'clock position there are nodular type (structures) plural so i dont know if that means only two nodules or multiple solid nodules in both positions.
I find the terms on the report and the wording changes each year and find it confusing.
Can complex cysts just go away? since the previous years reports say I have multiple and this year it doesnt say anything about the complex cysts?? If I had a choice I would take all the cysts out but fear I wouldnt have much breasts left lol.

Good morning
Thank you so much for answering back :)
I know the specialist was able to see my ultrasound report from this July and they told me a diagnostic Mammo  and Ultrasound will be performed and they will go from there? I'm not sure why they are not doing a MRI yet as it was stated on my ultrasound report? I had a Baseline MRI last year and said they were making sure a Tumor process wasn't starting. I had called down to were I am going for my appointment in Oct. and asked why they were not doing the right breast on the ultrasound and they stated that they will perform the other tests first and if needed they will do the right breast after, they said they have all the machines and tests at there fingertips and they are all on the same floor but I am not sure if that includes MRI or not?
It just seems like each year the report always writes a little more to be concerned about :(
Im 46
Dense breasts
Breast cancer in one Aunt
child birth after 30
Cysts then Complex cysts and now solid nodules.(so I have all three)
Each test states it cant see everything :( even the MRI last year.
So it always leaves you with this feeling that something else is lurking were it cant be seen.

I try to research so I can better understand what they are talking about when the time comes and so I can wrap my brain around it all. Since 2004 I have been going through the scare each year without any of the doctors discussing anything with me other than don't worry about it and that its fine.
This time around I give it a 50/50 on its something or its nothing, I just want to be informed in case it is the "something" and I can ask the right questions :) I will bring my husband with me because I know I will get flustered and he will be able to listen and tell me everything I missed lol
I just hope this time around they will fill me in a little more about the mess that's going on inside my breasts.

Thanks for listening
