Sudden big visible lumps in left breast

Hello,

I'm a 39yo female. I gave birth once at 33 and my cup went from A to D and stayed that way ever since. My left breast has been bigger then my right since then. I have had 5 IVF procedures in the last three years, last was in June this year. I mostly but not always have painful swollen breasts before my periode. Start of July I noticed a lump in my left breast. After m period mid July it did not go away. I now have what feels like four big hard lumps. It's easily visible when you look at my breast. No swollen lymph nodes. I'm not sure if I can define them as movable or smooth? I can push it and it moves but I cannot move it around my breast, it goes back to the same place. No pain. I'm very worried. Have an appointment 13th of Sep with gyn. Can this even be benign?

Hi there.  I had something 'similar' and it was related to hormones.  I also had a cyst at one time that was drained as yours were.  Most of the time, these lumps do turn out to be nothing but it's important to do our self breast checks and get them checked out as you did.

Hello,I was able to get an earlier appointment with a gyn. She was very concerned and immediately send me to radio. I expected nothing less than a death sentence. They wanted to start with an echo and after one minute they could tell me it were several big cysts pushing up the breast tissue. That is why it felt so hard and was not very mobile. They have drained them there and then. A lot of pus and blood. I was very lucky. I have two big ones (3x3 cm) in my other breast as well. Never felt them and no need to do anything about it. I hope anyone reading this can find the same relief. I wish everyone the best. Please don't self diagnose and try not to panic. Get tested asap. Take care.
