Vascular hypoechoic mass

Do both benign and malignant hypoechoic masses have vascularity?

What does hypoechoic mass with mild vascularity mean?

Thank you so much for your time.

It's just different and can be both more solid like or liquid filled. It's the difference from the surrounding tissue that defines the area as suspicious but just as abnormal and not necessarily cancerous. There are many benign abnormalities also. Regards .....

Thank you so much for your answer.

Because there are less echos.does that mean that the mass is similar to the tissue aound it and is more dense and solid like?

Thank you so much. : )

Hypoechoic means that the mass reflects few of the Ultrasound waves that are directed at it. Yes, both benign and malignant masses can have vascularity.
