Weird things happening to my breasts

Hi, I've had some weird things happen with my breast recently. About a week ago I had like a red rash on the side of my boob that looked like blood cells were broken and I just assumed that I scratched my boob too hard. A few days later, my nipples were very itchy and once I itched them a bit, they hurt so bad that I had to wear a sports bra to bed (normally don't wear any thing) so that it wouldn't rub against anything harsh. And then today, I notice small brown/yellowish spots around my areola accompanied with red spots on the side of my boob. Anyonr else have this and any advice? Thank you.

Hello and welcome to MedHelp Forums.  First, let me say that any time you notice a change in your breasts, it is recommended to seek an opinion of a doctor who can visually and manually examine you.  So, that's our first recommendation.

There is a type of breast cancer called inflammatory breast cancer which involves one or both breasts becoming red, inflamed, swollen and painful.  You don't sound to be describing this issue but that is impossible to know from online dialogue, however a doctor can determine but did wanted to give you the information. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/inflammatory-breast-cancer/symptoms-causes/syc-20355413.  You do not seem to be describing this which is good news but do see your doctor for confirmation.

Something to look into is it being something like a general rash or a fungal rash.  https://www.mayoclinic.org/symptoms/breast-rash/basics/definition/sym-20050817.  If you develop a fever, red streaking or yellow or green fluid from rash, severe pain, or sores that won't heal, seek medical attention.  But this article recommends some home fixes that might help such as using a fragrance free moisturizer on the area, take a warm bath or put a warm washcloth over the area and then moisturize after, try not to scratch. I have heard Aquaphor on the area can be helpful.  Here is a general link to breast rash. https://www.mayoclinic.org/symptoms/breast-rash/basics/definition/sym-20050817

We hope this clears up soon.  Best of health to you.

I am doing well, I set up an appointment for next week to see a doctor just in case. There is still some red and brown spots on my breast but I am not experiencing pain or anything. Thank you for your help, I’ll update after I see the doctor (:
