I have just received my results for my mammogram and it is listed I have a birad4B...(hypechio mass) What does the birad4B mean?

BIRAD 4 means that the nodule found in your mammogram is somewhat suspicious in nature and nothing more than that.Usually a biopsy is ordered.Many. BIRAD 4 scoring are found to be benign..BIRADS is a scoring that radiologist rate the imagery on Mammograms,they go from 0 to 5. Five being highly suspicious.Hoping that your biopsy will be uneventful and the reading of the result will be benign.Best wishes
