nipple discharge for single woman w/ no kid

Good day! Im from the philippines. Im 33 years old, single, no kids. I have this feeling of worrying after I experiencing nipple discharged on my left breast, single duct for 4 times now, the color is yellowish, it started 2 years ago and last is today.i want to ignored it but i believed its not normal. Im having chest pain sometimes. I have abnormal menstruation and somtimes its too heavy to the point that im using already a diaper, it last for 3 to 4 days. i seek help from the doctor and she suggest to me to take mammography but when i get there they did not allow me because they say im young for that. i dont know what best for me and so not to worry about my breast situation. May i ask for your advised? Thank you and God bless this forum so that you could help more people.

thanks for the reply and for the help. I came to the doctor already and was taken a blood test for prolactin and costalgen for my nipple discharge. I need to wait for 2 weeks for the result. my obgyne recommend me to take mammography but the hospital didnt accept me because they say im too young for that. Im only 33.

Anyway ill write the update for that so i it could help others if they have situation like mine.

I don't know how your laws/insurance works in the Philippines. Discharge is normal sometimes but since you are having abnormal periods I think it should be checked. There is another site I will guide you to. Women from many areas. Please post your question there. I hope this helps. I am sorry I could not help you. The site is breastcancer.org.
