Dear catherine15, This is unusual amount of pain this far out. You should be sure to check with your doctor who can evaluate.

When I had my core biopsy, I was sooooooo sore.  I don't remember how long but I remember it was longer that I thought is should be.  I don't think my pain radiated like yours is doing.  I would definitely call or visit my doctor about that.  Good Luck !!

I had mine done 3 years ago and the dr. told me it was "phantom pain" now I have a 5cm clustered lump which the radiologist told me that she could not confidently tell me it is not malignant. GET IT CHECKED!!!!!! Make them look into it. I don't know what is happening with mine right now, but I am very worried. I don't like the reactions I got from any of the 3 dr.'s I have seen in the last week. I have my pre-op appointment tomorrow morning. But only YOU know your body and if something isn't right then you are going to be the first person that is aware of it.

Good luck to you, don't be scared!
