Due for core biopsy on Wed, for hard fixed lymph node. Dr. seemed very concerned. I don't know how long it has been there, don't do routine exams. Saw this answer for one of the questions from a surgeon.-This sounds exactly like my symptoms...what does this mean. Can puckering with lympth node involvement be anything else?
I am scared.
If a dimple in the armpit were related to breast cancer, it would be from a lymph node so involved with metastatic cancer that the cancer had gone beyond the limits of the node into the surrounding tissues, causing puckering. I've seen this a couple of times: in that case, the nodes in the armpit would be so large and abnormal that there'd be absolutely no question about what was going on. In other words: a small dimple with no obviously abnormal nodes underneath means nothing.
