Breast Feeding With Inverted Nipples

Hello my husband and I would like to start trying to have a baby soon and I've been wondering how difficult it will be to breastfeed with inverted nipples? Have any of you ladies successfully breastfed with inverted nipples? I was considering getting surgery to get them out but if it's not necessary then I don't want to go through that. Thanks!

I was!!!  I have just one inverted nipple and was able to nurse all three of my kids over a year each.  It was not easy and it did hurt at first, but I met with a lactation consultant at the hospital and had success!  Keep at it and you'll be great!  Best of luck!
