Having periods every two weeks after weaning. When will I ovulate?

I weaned daughter the end of November cold turkey. I got my first period the last couple of days of December into the first week of January and been having a period every two weeks since. We were trying to get pregnant again but every time it comes time to ovulate, I am back on my period. Have taken pregnancy test, but they have been negative. Am I still ovulating? When will it regulate?

Ugh, that's a pain.  Honestly, for that situation, I'd call your doctor.  Bleeding that often isn't normal.  That's a short luteal phase.  Or you are just spotting.  because in order to have a period at all, you have to have ovulated.  Spotting can appear to be a period. So, Id get a little blood work done and check your hormone levels.  I got pregnant within a month of weaning my first child.  But I know for some it has taken longer.  See your doctor about your spotting
