Where are the ones that have past away?

In your opinion where do you think our loved one that have passed are? In heaven or waiting for Jesus to come?

The book says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, so my loved ones are with Jesus.

Hi Judy-

Its hard to believe how much like me you seem to be. I feel the exact same way
I would neither have a reason to live without believing what I do.

It just wouldnt be worth living!!!! Thanks for the bible verses they refreshed my soul.
You are so right we must have hope & faith in that which are eyes cant see
but we know are really there.

God Bless

I believe my mom is in heaven also but alot of people believe that the dead
no nothing & are raised at the resurrection.
So I just wanted  to get peoples different  views & why they think the way they do.

Thanks

(Jesus said:) "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. I and My Father are one.'' (John 10.27-30)

(Jesus said:) "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." (John 11.25-26)

"And God will raise us from the dead by his power, just as he raised our Lord from the dead." 1 Corinthians 6:14

"For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands" 2 Corinthians 5:1

"For we will put on heavenly bodies, we will not be spirits without bodies." 2 Corinthians 5:3

"We would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord" 2 Corinthians 5:8b

Psalm 23:1-6

1 The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
2 He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
3 He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
bringing honor to his name.
4 Even when I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
protect and comfort me.
5 You prepare a feast for me
in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings.
6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the Lord
forever.

I have to believe in the word of God or I will not survive the sword that has pierced my heart by death.  Judy

This is a very delicate subject for me who has experience soooo many death. There are times when I stand before my mother's grave and know she is "dead", in a closed casket, in a vault, in a small hole, in the grown, surrounded by dirt, darkness, 6 ft under. This was her worst nightmare now it's her physical home. Please say, resting place, she's dead how can she be resting...THIS IS HOW I FEEL!!! However, I believe in God, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord, Master, Savior and I believe in the bible and so did she. Although everyone say's in heaven, I feel that once you have loss the last breath of life, if you died saved, which my Christian mother did, you have live by "faith" and not by sight and trust the one day I will see her again in God's time. Where is her soul right now, in a very special place in heaven....I have to believe that or I have no reason to live anymore.
