Anyone have sucess 1st round of clomid?

Hi, im new to all of this...Im TTC, i've been married for 2 years, no baby :( We officially started trying 8 months ago. So my Doc said im not ovulating probbaly due to high bodyfat..like 29% or something. Anyway Im 24 yoa. Super irregular periods. I started taking the progesterone to make my Period come, then on CD3-7 i started clomid(50mg)...symptoms ive observed are HOTFLASHES...fatigue...and it made it thirsty(weird)...CD 8 my doc had me take 2mg estrogen (thats 3 little pills) 1x daily. I started taking prenatals also the first day I started progesterone.
So now its CD11...i checked  for CM yesterday..did not see any. I plan to BD this evening...and then again on CD13 or 14. I hope that makes sense..i picked up on some of the abbrev while surfing QnA's on google : )

Any tips? OH question...Ive read that the clomid reduces cervical mucus...and some of you take rhobitussin(sorry for the misspell) ...ok are we talking about the actual cough medicine here? how  does this help...? Since im taking the estrogen I dont think i will have a problem with CM. Plz keep me in your prayers..Ill be so dissapointed if this doesnt work...but I can only wait on the Lord.

you might look into a different pharmacy. I got clomid, progesterone, and metformin filled a few weeks back with NO insurance and it was only $37 at Walmart. =)

I can afford it I make more than enough money. I just thought since I had what I thought was good insurance that I would only have to pay my copay but I guess not, my insurance on pays 80% I think and I pay the other 20%.......8^{

Bcp us birth control pills, well I must have the worst insurance because for me three scripts they want me to pay $336.00 and I would need to pay that if I need to get them refilled if I doesn't work the first time

Hi There :)

I am actually on my 2nd round of clomid. I experienced the dry mouth too lol. Very weird.

Anyhow, regarding the cervical mucus, I have heard that clomid can make you dry and sticky. I took Robitussin the first round. You have to buy the Robitussin that is an expectorant only. It CANNOT have the CM or DM in the title. It can only have the ingredient Guaifenesin. I actually bought the Tussin brand. I could not find it in Robitussin. The reason it helps is because it is meant to thin out the mucus in our bodies, which includes cervical mucus. You take it 2 tablespoons 3 times a day, only while you are fertile and not past ovulation. I say that it can't hurt. This month I bought pre-seed, which is a lubricant that mimics our natural cervical mucus, it is sperm friendly and specifically balanced to help when dry and many who try to conceive have been successful using it. I have used it twice this round and it totally feels natural. So I highly recommend using it! Its like $20 at CVS. Walgreens doesn't carry it in store but I believe they carry it online. I figure, it can't hurt, it can only help!!

I will be keeping you in my prayers : ) lots of baby dust to you!!
