Side effects

my question is those of you who did not get pregnant with Clomid...or at least not the first time you used it... did you experience a lot of side effects from the clomid? I can feel my ovaries... I have been able to feel them since my 4th day on Clomid (not like literally) sometimes there will be a super sharp pain on one or both of them too... I have a lot of the other side effects too...

So, I asked my sister if she'd had any of the side effects when she was on Clomid.. she said she never had any. She also never O'd with clomid... it didn't work for her... so I was wondering if it's working for me since I have side effects... or it this just hopeful wishing?

Thank you for your reply! I have my fingers crossed for you! Sounds like it could be your month!

I took clomid days 5-9 or perhaps I did it wrong and it was days 4-8. I don't know... either way... I'm on day 14 right now... and still no ovulation. I'm praying for ovulation though!

I just took my first round of Clomid this month and can "feel my ovaries" too. My husband thinks it's weird :) glad to know I'm not alone in that.
The side effects I had were irritability... I would just be upset for no reason. I also had really severe headaches the last 2 days of the round. I took the dose on days 3 thru 7 of my cycle. But everything went back to "normal" right after I stopped my dose.
I'm now on day 19. My ob/gyn has me charting my temp everyday and that is how he found out I wasn't ovulating. Well, since I'm charting my temp, I think I ovulated around days 14 thru 16 because my temp shot up significantly. My DH and I did the BD just about every other day since I took my last pill on day 7. Now, it's just a waiting game to see if we made a baby or not.
Everyone is different. What may not have worked for your sis may work for you. Don't give up :) The side effects are normal from what I've read. In my mind, if the meds help me get pregnant. I'll put up with the discomfort for as long as I need to.
I hope his helps.
Good luck with everything.
