APICOLORDOTIC VIEW

Findings on my check-up indicate that there are suspicious left upper lobe infiltrates in my Chest PA and the recommendation is to have an apicolordotic view. What does this generally mean? What is being tested here?

Hi Jojo,
An apicolordotic view may be requested in cases of suspicious infiltrates in the upper lobes of the lungs seen on the PA view of the chest x-ray.  This view focuses on both apices of the lungs and can confirm the presence of infiltrates.
Hope this helps.
